Upcoming Surgery
Ryan had an eye appointment today, and the doctor confirmed what we had suspected for a while: He will need surgery to correct his strabismus fully. However, she wanted us to get a second opinion on how to proceed with the surgery, so we are now going to have an appointment at the Casey Eye Institute in Portland before the surgery is actually scheduled.

Second Opinion is good. When will that appt be?? Your mom was down on Saturday to watch Hannah's soccer game, she mentioned him needing bifocals (sp?) all the time. Is that right??
We haven't yet scheduled the appointment, hopefully next month though. The doctor decided not to try the bifocals but to go ahead with surgery. She was hoping on this visit to be able to try bifocals, but after examining him, she said they would help enough to avoid surgery.
