Family Fun Time

We were going to do a few errands and things on Friday, but because of an injury Abby got and the pouring rain, we ended up just having a fun play day. We went out to breakfast at our favorite local pancake house. Then Ryan thought it would be fun to go see a movie, so we went to see Chicken Little (personally, I didn't like it). The kids enjoyed the movie, even though it was a little scary for them. Then we headed to our neighborhood bowling alley, Park Lanes, and Ryan played his first game of bumper bowling.

He tried rolling the ball himself and using the ramp. It was difficult to get the ball rolling on his own, so the ramp seemed to help a lot. He did pretty well for his first time, and we all had a really fun time. The pathetic thing is this is Mommy and Daddy's score even with the bumpers up!

How fun!

Hannah had a birthday party she was invited to last spring where it was at the Bowling Alley. No Bumpers though. It was hilarious and a lot of fun. We've talked about going back as a family, but it's so expensive.

Yeah, we had a coupon for three free games that Ryan won at the fair this summer. Then they were giving out coupons for one free game for four, so we'll definitely be taking advantage of that!
