Christmas Day

Because we're in the middle of packing and moving, we decided to wait and do our main Christmas celebration after we move to our new house in a couple weeks. Our gift to the children is a little big and bulky, so we wanted to wait till we move to put it together, and Gramie will be here in a few weeks too and we can celebrate with some other family.

We did give the kids their stockings, and Ryan got some fun things in his. He was particularly happy with his Buzz Lightyear "cell phone." We also let him open his gifts from Granpa and Grama Garner, and he got a huge Tonka dumptruck, among other books and things.

Wow! That is one BIG Tonka! That'll be great in the new backyard!!! Did Ed's dad ship that or just send money and you bought it???

He actually shipped it all the way from Florida! It's really cool, but unfortunately he already has three big (though not this big!) dumptrucks--one for inside and two outside--so we actually exchanged it for a backhoe. It's really big too though! I'll try to get a picture of it up soon...Ryan loves it. Tonka stuff is really cool...and guaranteed for life!

We looked at a big Tonka truck for Rachel. LOL.

I think she would love it! Abby plays with Ryan's trucks and cars all the time (and he plays with her dolls and strollers too). We even gave her a Hot Wheel (mini cooper...adorable!) in her stocking!
